THE OPPORTUNITY As a culture who embrace staff development and career growth, they present the opportunity for an experienced and motivated  Intermediate Accountant  to  Senior Accountant  to step into the shoes of a recently promoted member of staff.
The position will entail working in compliance and tax with the following responsibilities: Assisting business clients with their financial reporting and tax compliance obligations including: Preparing financial statements and tax returns BAS/IAS/FBT/GST compliance Correspondence with ATO on behalf of clients Liaising directly with clients on a regular basis Developing advisory skills in the areas of Financial Forecasting, KPI reporting, Business Structures/ Restructures, Taxation Advice & Management Accounting THE IDEAL CANDIDATE To be considered for this career changing role, the following criteria must be met: Degree qualification Commenced or completed CA studies At least 2 years' public practice accounting experience Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients Ambition and drive to continue developing Previous experience with Xero (advantageous) Interest in value add and advisory KEY BENEFITS Dynamic and progressive firm Above market salary package Strong team culture and positive working environment CA support and Partner mentoring Regular training Ability to develop management and financial accounting skills Rapid technical growth through exposure to diverse enterprises and variety of work Excellent systems and processes (cloud based) To discuss in further detail, speak to Yelena today by calling 0450 431 605.
