What you can expect from a day in this role: As part of our team based in Hobart, you will specialise in commercial upholstery across our tourism and hospitality portfolio of stunning properties including Wrest Point, MacQ01, and Henry Jones.
Ideally you would have skills using hand and power tools, sewing machines and overlocker, but most importantly; you will have a basic understanding of mathematics (measure, cut & fit), be keen to learn, and able to fit into our passionate team.
Your expertise will help us enhance a wide variety of high-quality furniture, including:
OttomansScatter cushions and bolstersArmchairs, chairs, and bar stoolsWhat you will bring to the role: A trade certificate in Upholstery, ideally with proven experience working as an UpholstererExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to the highest quality workStrong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to thrive under pressure and a strong work ethicPlease note, a successful applicant may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
