Bethanie Community provides a wide variety of services to clients covering day-to-day living needs in their own homes including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite services, and social support in Geraldton, Perth, and in the South West.

We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and highly flexible individuals to join our Bethanie Community North Metro team as a part-time Unqualified Support Worker supporting areas from Mirrabooka to Subiaco, Osborne Park up to North Beach and all suburbs in between.
Whilst you use your own car we offer a travel allowance of $0.92 per kilometre. To be considered for this role you will be available to work:
Permanent part-time (minimum 15-20 hours per week guaranteed)Working shifts between the hours of 9 am - 4 pm across Monday to Friday.If you are interested in a role that gives back to the community but may not have completed any qualifications, this might just be the role for you!
About the role: Professionally deliver a variety of services (including: food, laundry, leisure, supporting hobbies and interests & domestic cleaning)Ensure all living areas of clients' homes are kept clean and tidy, and safe from hazardsAll personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented appropriatelyProvide respect and compassion to clientsSupport customers with transport to appointmentsProvide social support to customers spending time doing the things they loveAbout you: A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support – don't worry if you don't have a qualification, we can help you get one!Previous experience within an Aged Care or Community Care environment desired – if you haven't worked in the industry, tell us about your passion for older peopleAbility to work independently, as well as part of a teamAbility to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are maintainedDriver's licence, and access to a reliable vehicleCurrent Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for oneWilling to obtain required vaccinations - 3x COVID vaccinations and annual flu vaccinationWorking with Bethanie At Bethanie, we are committed to being an employer of choice by creating a supportive and compassionate environment for our people, customers, and residents.
