Part time 0.6FTE, fixed term until 26th April 2027 Exciting opportunity to provide key administrative support to the Semiconductor Sector Service Bureau (S3B) located at Cicada Innovations in South Eveleigh Base Salary $108,557 - $118,267 + 17% superannuation (Pro Rata to 0.6FTE) About the Area The Semiconductor Sector Service Bureau (S3B) is a not-for-profit organisation aiming to support and grow the semiconductor sector from devices all the way to end-user applications.
About the opportunity As the Senior Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in providing advanced administrative support to the Semiconductor Sector Service Bureau (S3B). Utilising your strong administrative skillset, you will provide operational and financial support to ensure that administrative processes and procedures are optimised.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Work within a dynamic team, reporting to the Director, S3B.
Manage the general day-to-day operations and administration activity for S3B ensuring that high quality and efficient administrative support is provided to S3B staff and key stakeholders.
Respond to a range of enquiries via telephone, email and in person, from clients, partner organisations, visitors and the public regarding a wide range of S3B's activities.
Review processes regularly and make suggestions to improve these where necessary and implement approved modifications and streamline processes where possible.
Act as the point of contact for S3B purchases and independently manage and deliver all tasks to ensure that purchases requested are completed in a timely manner.
Coordinate schedules, meetings and events and provide effective conference support for S3B.
About you Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in a related field.
Extensive administrative experience in a tertiary or similar organisation.
Numeracy skills together with experience in controlling income/expenditure for reconciliation/budget tracking, and managing invoice payments and purchases for a project.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Working knowledge of various software programs such as Hyperion Reporting System, Spendvision, Records Management, Content Management Systems, Student Management Systems, Timetabling etc.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work.
