The Investment Operations Analyst is responsible for assisting and making decisions on investments related settlements and cash flow movements related to the Investment Portfolio and dealing with daily issues which arise, ensuring transparency of information to members of the ICM team as well as other relevant stakeholders.
The role also contributes to the management and structuring of investment data to enable the efficient management of due diligence processes and reporting of investment performance and positioning.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
analyse investment market values and reconcile to the custodian banks records prepare and settle all capital calls, distributions, investment management fees and other transactions as necessary review and disseminate all investment valuations and associated investment manager data required to have an effective and strong relationship with members of the investment team and the custodian in order to resolve any settlement or system issues on a daily basis handle a variety of complex requests from Portfolio Managers/Fund Managers and providing guidance to the investment team. review and assist in the development of procedures and systems relating to investment operations and data management. assist in the account opening process with new managers, funds, special purpose vehicles, mandates and other investment vehicles as required, including the completion of tax forms/account set-up and KYC information About you hold a combination of qualifications and experience within a relevant field experience in investment back-office management and liaison with custody service providers. demonstrated ability to be able to implement best-practice processes proven knowledge and experience working within the Investment Operations area, custody or superannuation field strong understanding of Unlisted assets, Private equities, asset valuation and settlements provide customer service at a high level both written and verbal to a range of stakeholders within and external to the university excellent computer skills, microsoft packages such as Excel, Microsoft word, PowerPoint To keep our community safe, please be aware of our COVID safety precautions which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.
