Located on the Camperdown/ Darlington Campus Full-time, continuing position, offering a starting base salary of $86,511 and 17% superannuation About the opportunity The role will see you applying your research skills to accurately uncover new prospects for the University of Sydney major gifts fundraising team. You will use your investigative skills to conduct strategic prospect research for major gifts development officers.
As a Philanthropy Researcher , you will also support the development of prospect strategies throughout the fundraising cycle in collaboration with development associates. The Prospect Development Analyst will perform prospect identification in collaboration with the Prospect Development team.

conduct research, both reactively and proactively, on individuals, foundations and corporate prospects, and donors
screen prospective prospects or current donors
derive gift capacity estimates for major gift donors and prospects using available wealth indicators
actively support the identification and verification of new prospects discovered through database searches and other proactive resources
assist the development team in recommending prospects, engagement strategy and assignments of quality prospects to the team
create profiles on major donor prospects
enhance the donor database with updated career information and wealth events
contribute to event briefings
