You will work closely with relevant project teams, Domains and Domain leadership, and the Integration Management Office (IMO) to execute communications that support the new Adelaide University's key strategic objectives, program milestones and decisions (including change communications), co-creation activities, and transition updates. You will be aligned to one or more Domains, providing expert Domain management through the development and execution of communication strategy.
You will focus on internal audiences (staff and current students); however, it will work closely with the relevant Domains within the Integration Management Office, including the Market and Partner Engagement Domain, for external audience communication related to the transition process.
Core Responsibilities Research, write, edit, and analyse accessible content for project communication channels (intranet, newsletters, website) focused on Adelaide University transition updates, specific activities, and decisions. Prepare and tailor change communication materials, briefing notes, videos, and introductory messages for Domain Leads and senior university staff. Coordinate and execute Domain engagement activities, including staff briefings and co-creation events, and manage content in platforms like IdeaPlace to enhance stakeholder involvement. Advise and collaborate with Domain Leads, stakeholders, and Deloitte Change Partner on communication strategies, fostering alignment with strategic objectives. Project support and coordination, track progress on communications plans, and maintain strong relationships with University staff and the IMO to drive program success and model effective teamwork. Essential Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in marketing, journalism, communications, project management or a related discipline, along with demonstrated experience in a comparable senior role in a complex organisation. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, together with experience in relating to and influencing managers and negotiating with staff across all levels of an organisation. Expert content development and editing skills, with the ability to unearth an interesting story and to interpret complex information and communicate it for different audiences. Highly developed organisational and project management skills and experience in managing multiple priorities, projects and resources within tight timelines. About the new Adelaide University
