Why Your Role Matters
The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will enhance and increase the school's capacity to deliver high-quality teaching, higher degree research supervision and research. The position will be expected to contribute to the school's teaching and research programs through course development and delivery, research outputs, quality assurance, industry engagement, student support, and assist in other administrative duties related to the schools and faculty objectives.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
A PhD in a related discipline, and relevant work experience. Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development. Industry experience in the management of Cyber (or IT) functions from a strategic and/or operational perspective is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence. Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills. Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives. Evidence of research publications and or grant successes. Evidence of scholarship of teaching and or professional currency. Benefits and Culture:
