Graduation Coordinator
Student Experience
Continuing, full-time $87,051 to $95,685 per annum (HEO6) Plus 17% employer superannuation Salary packaging options are available 5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum Applicants must have appropriate Australian work rights for the duration of this position (UNE will not provide sponsorship for this position) About the role
The Graduation Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all academic aspects of graduation. This includes project managing and executing tasks related to graduate lists, records, and reports; coordinating communication with graduates and graduands; issuing invitations to ceremonies and other events; preparing and delivering both digital and physical testamurs; troubleshooting issues related to testamurs, degree status, and graduate concerns; performing various roles during the ceremonies, such as managing registration; and handling all other academic elements of graduation. To effectively fulfill these duties, the Graduation Coordinator works in close collaboration with the Progression Team, Governance, and UNE Life.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Project management expertise and ability to oversee all academic aspects of graduation, including tracking, quality assurance, evaluation, and reporting. Ability to coordinate communication with relevant UNE teams (e.g., events, student progression, governance, and corporate communications) to ensure seamless graduation processes. Experience in managing graduate-related tasks, including preparing and distributing invitations, correspondence, and addressing queries in a timely manner. Proficiency in preparing graduation materials, such as attendee lists, digital and physical testamurs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional standards. Strong organisational skills to ensure all processes are well-documented and fully aligned with institutional standards and procedures. Experience with relevant student systems (e.g., Callista, SRM) and the ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of graduation administration and processes.
