Join our ICT Operation team as a Technical Systems and Cloud Administrator where you'll be responsible for the administration and management of our physical and virtual servers, LAN & WAN networks, backup/recovery/replication, communications, software platforms and cloud infrastructure within UnitingSA.
This hands-on role will use all your skills and experience with Enterprise ICT systems and support.
You will have the opportunity to provide technical support and advice in the implementation of projects and digital transformation initiatives.

Here's what a typical day in the role might look like:
No two days are the same.
You'll arrive at work, maybe grab a coffee or a tea and then check in with the team on what are the priorities for the day.
You will check the alerts and reports for any issues that need to be urgently addressed and then settle into working through your work queue in our service desk tool.
As part of our asset management plans, you will have the opportunity to work on IT & Business Projects updating our hardware and software assets so that we maintain our services and service levels.

Who's hiring?
You'll be reporting to Wayne Richards, our ICT Operations Manager, who is part of the Office of Finance and Information, led by our CFIO.
Our ICT team is made up of several key areas: Information Systems Programmes, ICT Support Services, Projects, and ICT Operations.

We're a tight-knit team, and to keep the camaraderie going, we enjoy Social Fridays, a great way to unwind and connect after a busy week!

What qualities is Wayne looking for?

5 years experience in a similar Networking and Systems administration role.
High level of technical, analytical, research, fault finding and problem solving skills with capacity for innovative thinking.
High level of organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and prioritise duties in a demanding environment.
Experience in working closely within cross functional ICT and business teams to deliver great client experience.
Good written and verbal communications skills.
What You'll Bring:
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
Significant and relevant Enterprise experience in a medium to large technology environment supporting 400+ users and multiple sites.
Current industry certifications, including but not limited to Microsoft, Cisco, Meraki, VMware, Veeam, or Aruba, along with substantial equivalent enterprise experience.
A current DHS Working with Children Check and DHS NDIS Worker Check (essential).
Proven experience in a similar technical role, demonstrating: Extensive expertise in managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining all aspects of ICT platforms, both cloud-based and on-premise.
Comprehensive experience in administering, troubleshooting, and maintaining network and cloud platforms, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, virtual switching, and firewall security.
A strong background in Microsoft Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and scripting.
