Executive Director, People & Assurance (2030180/001) Adelaide, Australia Salary: Attractive Package An opportunity exists to join one of South Australia's leading not-for-profits, playing a key leadership role and cultivating a thriving, inclusive and innovative workplace culture. In this Adelaide-based role, you'll lead, manage and shape a diverse and engaged team spanning human resources, learning and organisational development, quality and risk, diversity and inclusion as well as well-being and workplace safety. The Role: As the Executive Director, People and Assurance, you'll play an active role in leading whole-of-organisation projects and contribute to the strategic planning cycle, monitoring organisational performance against key business plan benchmarks. Overseeing a diverse range of departments, you'll develop effective workforce planning strategies, which incorporate new strategic priorities, as well as processes, procedures and policies which inform the organisation's approach to its people and practices. Leading Uniting Communities' payroll function, you'll ensure that all payments and processing run smoothly and meet payroll and human resource compliance requirements. This role will also contribute to enterprise agreement renewals, manage organisational-wide approaches to staff learning and development as well as work health and safety program implementation. You'll advise and assist the organisation in promoting quality services, managing risk and delivering a dynamic and supportive volunteer strategy. Moreover, you'll be an active contributor to the Uniting Communities Executive team, playing a positive and engaged role in decision-making at the highest levels. And who are you? With proven executive or senior manager experience, you'll have a strong understanding of people and culture practices, workplace safety and industrial relations. With in-depth knowledge of corporate governance principles and managerial best practice, you'll be at ease with producing high-level executive reports on matters within your department as well as developing key people and culture strategies and plans. A clear, concise and considered communicator, you'll also have the ability to present reports and manage conflict and negotiations in relevant forums and meetings while maintaining sustainable relationships with key stakeholders. Most importantly, you'll be someone who wants to create change.
