As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will liaise with residents and their relatives to ensure that the activities/therapy program meets individual needs and enhances quality of life. Supported by a team of enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistants, you will design and implement engaging and meaningful lifestyle activities that are inclusive to all residents.
As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will provide leadership and mentorship to our team of Lifestyle Assistants, as well as promoting a harmonious team approach to the delivery of lifestyle services. You will be making a profound difference in the lives of our residents, enabling them to live their BEST life.
You will be responsible for:
Participating in the development and delivery of lifestyle programs to our residents, ensuring residents are able to participate and enjoy the programs Liaising with residents and their relatives to ensure that the Lifestyle therapy program meets individual needs and personal goals and enhances quality of life Involving the resident and representative in the development of individual care plans, implementation and review as needs change Assisting with assessments, review and the ongoing evaluation of residents' cultural, recreational and leisure needs and lifestyle interests Providing outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends About you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents and clients, to support them to live life to their potential!

Have a Diploma of Lifestyle and Leisure (desirable) Have previous experience in a lifestyle role in an aged care or community setting Have a Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure (desirable) Have the ability to drive a 10 seater bus (desirable) Have experience and knowledge in residential aged care with a commitment to high standards of care for residents and their families Are known for your caring and compassionate nature Thrive in a team and also appreciate one-to-one interactions Hold a current Working with Vulnerable People card Have Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust) Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Vulnerable People card/ Working With Children Check card Current and ongoing flu vaccinations Australian working rights Ability to pass a national police clearance Make a positive difference in your community – apply now!
