About the role:
A new position has been developed in conjunction with the opening of Strathaven Waterfront.
Rewarding opportunities exist for an experienced and flexible Administration Officer to provide high quality and professional administration support at our Strathaven residential facilities on a 6-month fixed term contract.
This position will include being an assistant to the residents in their new home. This position will include:
assisting with settling in residents orientating and supporting residents and their families gaining feedback and acting on improvements assisting residents with tasks where needed booking appointments and other reception duties in conjunction with the Manager. Working within a multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding customer service, maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends through receiving visitors and providing friendly and professional reception and switchboard support. You will play an active role with the Uniting AgeWell team, participating in building a community-based culture that fosters a spirit of the B E S T way of life, supporting our people to be their best, give their best and help our community to live their best.

are able to undertake a variety of tasks that are broad and different to traditional Aged Care have attention to detail and appreciation for providing the best experience on offer have a sincere passion for making a difference in the lives of others and a high level of customer service take pride in your work are experienced and have expertise in managing a busy switchboard and reception are experienced in communicating effectively with a diverse range of people, including older people or those who have disabilities have experience in residential aged care or community (strongly preferred) have experience in database and finance systems have excellent proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook with keyboard skills of typing of 50 wpm have availability to work 30 hours a week Monday - Friday thrive in a team and also appreciate the one-on-one interactions are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the B E S T way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust) Essentials for working in Aged Care:
