You will enable undergraduate laboratory-based teaching activities, including chemistry-focused courses such as Introductory Chemistry and Organic Chemistry through the delivery of established operational processes and procedures, as well as through expert technical knowledge. A significant function of this position is assisting the Team Leader (Science) to ensure that the laboratories are adequately resourced, equipped and set up for all teaching activities.You willProvide technical support and expertise to a range of undergraduate laboratory-based teaching programs including chemistry-focused courses in order to facilitate a quality practical experience and ensure students' successful completion of all learning objectives and outcomes;Contribute to method development and problem solving of standard procedures, assisting in the development and implementation of new techniques within the teaching laboratories;Contribute to the safe working practices within the teaching laboratories and auxiliary facilities, including compliance with risk and waste management systems, and the routine maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment.About youYour exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills ensure seamless operation of teaching and research equipment, including technology-enabled learning tools.
