You will Collaborate closely with key University clients, offering specialised operational and strategic guidance on People & Culture matters; Play a key role in fostering positive employee relations, managing conflicts, driving proactive resolutions; Offer precise and timely counsel to the Associate Director, Workplace Relations and Business Partnering, as well as other People and Culture colleagues and University stakeholders, as needed; Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to promote strategic People & Culture practices and formulate strategies to facilitate and strengthen their implementation. About you: Our ideal candidate is someone who prioritises people, effortlessly building and nurturing positive and professional relationships from day one. You value partnering with the business to provide sound advice around people matters and have a strategic mindset, capable of designing, implementing, and evaluating various programs and initiatives to improve organisational effectiveness and boost engagement. Your attention to detail and data ensures your active and accurate contribution to staff reporting and responses to changes in legislation. With a focus on continuous improvement, you play a key role in developing and executing change management programs, fostering an environment of adaptability and growth.
To be successful you will possess: Demonstrated expertise in contemporary people and culture business partnering, covering areas such as employee relations, recruitment, remuneration, job design and workforce planning. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building rapport and credibility across diverse client groups. Proficient in analysing and advising on a range of strategic and operational People & Culture matters. Strong written communication skills, including policy and procedure development for effective People & Culture practices. Outstanding organisational abilities for planning and coordinating programs and initiatives. Experience working within a large complex organisation managing a diverse range of client groups.
