Job Summary
Digital is changing everything about how consumer goods companies go to market. Retail media has become a critical component of the shopper journey and quickly become one of Unilever's most significant channels of investment. This is an important role that will contribute to elevating Unilever ANZ's retail media game.
Reporting to the Digital Commerce & Activation Lead ANZ, you will have responsibility for planning, executing and optimizing of retail media investments for all UL Business Unit Categories (Personal Care, Beauty, Home Care & Nutrition) at key e-retail accounts. This is a critical role balancing an understanding of our retail customer's priorities and bringing a passion for excellence in performance management.
Role Responsibilities:
Your mastery of the Customer's priorities, business process/calendar and retail media networks unlock Unilever's ability to land its plans with the fullest impact for the shopper end to end. You will be expected to understand and articulate industry and customers insights, business results & investment needs. You will co-lead Retail Media JBPs for all Business Units and retailers. This is your opportunity to drive more impact from retail media investment & deliver expertise to our customers that matches their capability in this space. You will create DSP, search, programmatic strategies for e-retail media partners & execute with the media agency. Interface with Customer Retail Media teams. Align with Category Strategy & Customer Sales teams on appropriate level of spend in Retail Media. Negotiate retail media investment. Integrate media & retail media across the path to purchase. Drive optimisation (in flight and ongoing) of retail media. Lead Retail Media reporting & effectiveness. You LOVE Digital Marketing with expertise in retail media, driving results through rigorous audience and investment optimization. You will champion an iterative way of working that enables continuous improvement - encouraging marketing that is fun, learns from failures and innovates every day to elevate Unilever's capabilities and execution. You are a connector, fostering customer intimacy by docking with field shopper marketing peers as a member of squads when required. Fully integrated into the wider Digital & Activation team to drive excellence in media planning, execution, and optimization. Develop strong relationships with key contacts including agency partners, shopper marketing digital, content team & sale teams to deliver against brand/portfolio objectives in retail media. Partner with measurement team, digital commerce and media optimization teams to iteratively improve retail media investment performance. Leadership and collaboration with shopper and media agency partners to ensure accountability & delivery on requirements. What you will need to succeed
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; master's degree preferred. A minimum of 4 years of experience of Media with Digital Marketing or eCommerce landscape. Good knowledge of e-commerce retailers & media strategies. Strong business and analytical acumen. Leading knowledge and track record of success with data driven marketing. Ability to lead cross functional teams to deliver complex, inter-disciplinary and often global Digital projects. Strong influencing capability and emotional intelligence.
