We are looking for an Uniform Attendant/Housekeeping Coordinator to join our Award winning Hotel. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, this full-time role involves managing our uniform inventory and ensuring that all staff uniforms are clean, organized, and readily available, while also coordinating between the hotel, the contract cleaning company, and team members.
In this role you will need to use your strong time management and organisational skills to plan and coordinate housekeeping tasks and activities. The role will require you to possess a strong understanding of manual handling techniques and safe work practises.
Your Responsibilities: A meticulous approach to inspecting and maintaining uniforms, ensuring they are clean, pressed, and in excellent condition.Strong ability to organize and manage uniform inventory, including tracking issuance and returns efficiently.Effective verbal and written communication to assist staff with uniform needs and address any issues promptly.A friendly and helpful attitude, providing excellent service to ensure staff feel supported.Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling duties consistently to maintain uniform standards.Ability to identify and resolve issues related to uniform management quickly and effectively.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.Schedule the work of the Housekeeping Team and ensure duties are assigned and completed. Carry out floor supervisor duties when requiredResponsible for communicating all operational concerns to the leadership team and proactively addressing any day-to-day operational concerns.Maintain complete knowledge of all Housekeeping services, outlets, hotel areas / features and hours of operation.Keep a complete updated inventory of linen and housekeeping supplies.Assist other Housekeeping Team Members in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.Follow all safety and sanitation policies.Process requests for Guests laundry, follow up as required with the dry-cleaning services.We look forward to receiving your application!
