About the Role We're looking for an experienced, technical M&A Underwriter to join our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team to work closely with the Head of M&A Underwriting and be integral for the regional growth strategy.
This role will see responsibility for:
Building and growing relationships with brokers, lawyers and third partiesDelivering presentations to clients and educating them on DUAL's M&A productsAssisting in developing and refining policy wordingsStructuring tailor-made solutions by considering the team underwriting parameters, underwriting guidelines and using underwriting knowledge and experience to win new business and retain existingMaintaining industry networksAnalysing data for monthly business reportsAd hoc duties as requiredAbout You A self-starter with great communication and organisational skills and a minimum of five (5) years M&A insurance experience with demonstrated knowledge of client industries and businesses as well as market knowledge of risk, good interpersonal skills and a passion for excellent customer service and building relationships.
Enjoys working in a close-knit team and highly collaborative environment, has the ability to make decisions, a drive to grow business through team success and a hunger for personal development.
