Deepcore Drilling is a leader in surface and underground drilling with extensive operations across Australia's East Coast. Due to continued expansion across Regional Victoria, we currently have new opportunities for Driller's Offsiders to join our team.
Our Entry Level Drillers Offsider opportunities are based on new and existing underground and surface mining projects located within regional areas across the East Coast, including North Queensland, New South Wales, and Regional Victoria.
Becoming a valued member of our drilling crews includes working collaboratively alongside and assisting our experienced Drillers to maintain safe drilling operations. We have a variety of roles available with different shifts offering either 14/7 or even time rosters. We are currently seeking applicants local to the Bendigo region.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Minimising breakage and down hole loss. Reporting all incidents immediately. Ensuring all prestart checks are performed diligently. Discussing openly and recording all hazards, near misses, and improvements. Ensuring accuracy in sample markup (e.g., Core) and orientation where applicable. Skills and Experience
Open Car Licence is mandatory. The ability to obtain a First Aid/CPR (Current) is a requirement. An ability to obtain a National Police Clearance is a requirement. Demonstrated experience in an Underground Driller Offsider role is desirable however not necessary. We are happy to accept entry-level applications. You will have the ability to work 12-hour days and operate in small teams. A good level of physical fitness is an inherent requirement, and the ability to pass a functional assessment.
