Currently, we are progressing development plans to develop a series of expansion projects in the region.Our vision is to be the leading gold producer, setting the industry benchmark in safety, teamwork, innovation, operational efficiency, and cost control.ABOUT THE ROLEAs an Underground Senior Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for technical advice, planning and improving mine methods, with a focus towards the medium to long term future needs of the mine.KEY DUTIES AND TASKSProduce practical mine designs for longer term projects (including infrastructure and development required).Coordination of business case process, including data collation, report preparation and approvals.Completion of quarterly forecast reviews, including direction of mining sequences and equipment allocation.Maintain and communicate 3 month rolling update of mine plan.Collation and review of monthly plans in alignment with end of month reporting deadlines.Assist with the preparation of budget plans.Review and maintain cost models, updating with actual costs.Preparation of mining proposals.Mine optimisation & identifying business improvement opportunities, including future operations and processes.Provide project works support to the Underground Managers such as but not limited to ventilation regulation wall constructions, mono pump selection and placement, major infrastructure upgrades i.e.
