About the role: Peabody is currently seeking Underground Operators (including Miner Drivers) to join our Centurion underground mine, located 160 kilometres west of Mackay.

Reporting to the Mine Manager, the scope of your new role will include: Carrying out personal risk assessment, hazard identification, and other safety requirements relevant to the role.Performing underground mining activities including coal extraction using both longwall and continuous miners, primary and secondary support, and other supporting activities using a range of mining equipment in order for the mine to safely meet production goals.Participating in site continuous improvement initiatives.The lifestyle: This position is offered on a 7:7 day/night roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah) DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.
