Working underground, you will be tasked with achieving and maintaining good relationships with both teams, identifying where plans and actions are diverging and addressing the gaps to maintain adherence to plan. Key result areas in this role include:Developing and providing safe and efficient drill and blast plans.Daily monitoring, recording and optimisation of production progress.Managing contractors on site and assisting supervisors with day to day running of the mineConducting mine process and business improvement studies as requiredAssist the Senior Engineer in establishing and implementing safe working practices and proceduresEnsure all statutory and regulatory requirements in respect to mining activities are metLifestyle friendly 8/6 roster, FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville, DIDO from Mt Isa with a travel allowance or live residential in Cloncurry and receive a local living allowanceEligible for quarterly bonusCompany share ownership plan, complimentary life insurance and income protectionFuture opportunities to work interstate or overseasAbout youThe ideal candidate for this role is a mining engineer with experience working underground. You will be proficient in using mine design software and possess strong communication skills.
