As an Underground Fitter, you will: Work as part of a dedicated crew to operate and maintain machinery and equipment to accomplish safe production and maintenance activities; Maintain effective maintenance practices and fault finding on complex mechanical systems including: continuous miners automated longwall systems surface and underground conveyors air and water management infrastructure; Maintain compliance and complete inspections in accordance with Engineering Management plans and the Maintenance Management System, and complete reports in a legible and accurate manner. To succeed in this role, you will: Have experience working in heavy industry, defence or heavy diesel on a range of complex mechanical plant; Be an exceptional team member with a can-do attitude; Hold an absolute commitment to safety and safe working practices.
