Underground Fitter

$78-82 per hour + Super | 12 hr shifts | Various sites 8/6-7/7, 2/1 & 2/2 FIFO rosters available Temp to Perm opportunity after 3 months KCA Site Services are seeking Trade Qualified Underground Fitters for ongoing work within the Goldfields region of Western Australia .
Role: Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter Location: Goldfields, Western Australia Rates: $78 - $82 per hour + super  Rosters:  8/6-7/7, 2/1 or 2/2  FIFO:  From Perth  Perks:   - Ongoing temp to perm opportunity after 3 months  - Most sites will have permanent rooms  - Upskilling and training on Underground Heavy Equipment  - Top market pay rates  - Choose the roster that suits your lifestyle  - Opportunity to diversify experience by working across various sites  Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and break down repairs on heavy diesel equipment and machinery (Mobile Plant and/or workshop based) Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Requirements: Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Fitting or Mobile Plant Technology.
Extensive experience with heavy diesel equipment, including but not limited to: Sandvik, Volvo, CAT, Atlas and Epiroc Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license.
Valid Passport or Birth Certificate.
Valid NPC within 12 months or willing to obtain.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug screening.
