About the role: Peabody is currently seeking Underground Electricians to join our Centurion underground mine, located 160 kilometres west of Mackay.
For more information on Centurion visit (centurionmine.com.au) Reporting to the Mine Manager, the scope of your new role will include: Carry out personal risk assessment, hazard identification and other safety requirements relevant to the role Work to "Best Practice" techniques to ensure that equipment is maintained to a high safety, productive and reliable standard Ensure all statutory inspections and maintenance tooling/safety equipment is maintained and periodic calibrations/inspections are recorded Compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements Participate in site continuous improvement initiatives The lifestyle: This position is offered on a 7:7 day/night roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah) DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.
