We are seeking 2nd or 3rd-year undergraduate students (degree or diploma) to work onsite at the AARC supporting our vehicle test team. This casual position provides hands-on experience in the automotive and IoT sectors, testing driver safety assist technologies using advanced test equipment and conducted to Australian Design Rules and ANCAP protocols for a range of clients.
Skills Required: Prepare, set up, and pack up equipment, and kit/de-kit vehicles for vehicle test programs.Assist with maintaining test equipment.Support the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team in executing vehicle test programs, which may include:Operating test equipment.Recording and producing video test records using various devices, including drones.Assisting in the preparation of test reports, data analysis, tracking issues, and ensuring resolutions. What We're Looking For: Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills, especially with IoT devices.Ability to take initiative and complete time-sensitive tasks with accuracy.A strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Clear and precise written and verbal communication skills.Adaptability to shifting tasks and priorities.Attention to detail in producing thorough documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
