Beveridge Williams is currently seeking a motivated Civil Engineering student for an opportunity to join Beveridge Williams in an Internship / Undergraduate Engineering position. This position will be based in our Central Coast office in Tuggerah, where the successful individual will be mentored by our Senior Engineers and given supported training and guidance as they work with us on drafting, designing and delivering significant greenfield residential land development projects. The Successful candidate will be Civil Engineering university student ideally 4th year, The position is on a casual basis, with flexibility to work around your study commitments and the opportunity to transition to a Graduate position once you have completed your final year of study. Their depth of knowledge is broadened even further through exposure to other areas of the business, including surveying, town planning, environmental consulting & Landscape Architecture.
As an Undergraduate Engineer you will: Participate in assigned projects ensuring appropriate technical skills are being used. Supported & mentored to become a well-rounded Civil Engineer, while given opportunities to be collaborate with our Town Planning, Landscape Architecture & Surveying teams. Under the supervision of an Engineer, use AutoCAD to draft up plans & designs for our land development projects. Work in a professional, passionate and supportive team. Required skills and experience: Currently in your 3/4th year of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. An Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident or have other eligible working rights. Ability to use a range of computer software applications relevant to this role, including MS Office applications and CAD (12D. AutoCAD or Microstation) High level of interpersonal, written and communication skills Highly organised with the capacity to manage several competing tasks at once and work to deadlines Strong attention to detail in completion of tasks.
