We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Civil Engineer to join our Structures team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from industry experts, and contribute to real-world projects.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for a 3rd or 4th-year student, committed to working a minimum of two consecutive days per week during the university term and available for increased hours during breaks. This role involves both office-based and site-based responsibilities, providing valuable exposure to real-world engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain drawing folders and ensuring document registers are up to date. Draft and organise RFIs (Request for Information) for Project Manager review. Assist in invoice signoffs, track day costs, and input timesheets. Break down drawings for project scopes, request quotes, and track supplier responses. Monitor project progress and update stakeholders. Assist with inspections, maintain ITPs (Inspection and test plans) and draft traffic permits. Ensure SWMS, risk assessments, and permits are current. Requirements:
Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Availability for at least two consecutive days per week during the academic term and additional availability over the university breaks. A valid White Card (Construction Induction). Confined Space training (preferred but not essential). What We Offer:
