About the Role
As an Undergraduate Accountant in our Business Services team, you'll build your technical accounting skills while you complete your studies.
Our Business Services team works closely with clients of all types and sizes in every sector.
By understanding each client's unique business, family, and wealth needs, our team provides a range of personalised accounting, tax and compliance, and advisory services - business valuations, due diligence, family business and succession planning just to name a few!
From helping a client grow their business, minimise their tax liability or plan for the future, our Business Services team is there to help clients achieve their goals!
What you'll do:
As an Undergraduate Accountant at BDO, you can expect to:
Engage in meaningful client work while collaborating with your team to gain experience across a variety of client engagements.Undertake a wide range of financial accounting and compliance tasks such as preparing activity statements, tax returns and financial statements, financial and management reporting, outsourced services and more.Expand your expertise in income tax, GST, FBT, IAS, stamp duty, and payroll. About You You will be studying towards an accounting degree or relevant undergraduate or postgraduate CA/CPA eligible degree.You can work part-time while you study, ideally 2 days per week.You are working towards graduating at the end of 2025 or 2026.
