We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Safety Manager to join our team and oversee quality and safety systems within the Australian AMO.

We are currently looking for an experienced Quality and Safety Manager who will take the lead in overseeing the Quality and Safety function for our Australian AMO, headquartered in Mareeba.
Our ideal candidate should have a good understanding of aviation safety principles and be comfortable leading, developing, and implementing safety, quality, and continuous improvement strategies.

Responsibilities As the Quality & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the effective running of the Quality and Safety Management Systems within the Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO).
You will develop and implement quality and safety policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and encourage participation in the quality and safety management systems Analyse data and trends to pro-actively identify areas for improvement Monitor compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards Promote a positive safety culture by training, coaching, and educating staff Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and hazards Conduct investigations of quality and safety incidents Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective measures Review and update quality and safety manuals and procedures as needed Qualifications, Skills & Experience If you meet the qualifications for this role, please inquire to learn more.

Requirements:
Meet or be prepared to meet CASA requirements for this role Experience working within a Quality and/or Safety Management system An experienced aircraft maintenance engineer Previous experience within a Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Desirable Requirements:
An ICAO Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License Further education (e.g., degree or equivalent in any field) Experience in Quality and/or Safety Management systems Training in root cause analysis, incident investigation techniques, and post-accident actions and auditing Training in continuous improvement and lean processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
