Umius Partners Pty Ltd is a boutique accounting firm located in Condell Park and Sydney CBD. We pride ourselves in providing unique and specialised accounting services to clients and work in a very friendly and supportive environment.
Due to the practice growing in size, we require the services of a Tax Accountant to come onboard and assist us in maintaining client relations and providing excellent service. The role will be located at our Condell Park office.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Have a minimum of 3 years local experience as an Accountant CA or CPA Qualified Demonstrate excellent writing and verbal communication skills Knowledge and experience in Accounting and Financial Management Ability to resolve issues and work under pressure High level communication skills to liaise directly with clients Ability to use accounting software including Xero and MYOB RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements and Taxation Returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and superannuation funds including Goods and Service Tax, PAYG instalments, PAYG withholding, and other taxes Assist in bookkeeping and accounting tasks Handle a portfolio of small-business clients to ensure lodgements by the due dates Communicate directly with clients, ATO, or other government agencies Assist with tax planning for clients Engage in tax research and advisory opportunities Work on a range of entities including SMSFs, companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals Maintain and update time sheets regularly We offer a friendly working environment and are committed to working as a team to ensure our clients are given the best service possible.
