Job Title: UI Designer (2-3 Weeks Contract)

The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
About Foodship: Foodship is a dynamic and innovative software company based in Melbourne, Australia. We develop technology focusing on the hospitality industry, like standalone food ordering systems, point of sale, and self-ordering kiosks for restaurants and cafés. Currently, we operate in Australia and New Zealand, with many existing clients. We have recently launched our products in India, and we are all set to take the Indian market by storm.
Job Type & Location: Full-time (Short-term Contract) & Work From Home.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with product manager and development team to understand project requirements and objectives. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts. Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications that adhere to brand guidelines and best practices. Define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience. Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders. Complete assigned tasks within the specified timeframe and deliver high-quality work. Requirements and skills: Proven 2-3 years of experience as a UI Designer or similar role. Proficiency in design software i.e.: Figma. Portfolio showcasing previous UI design projects. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps. Preference will be given to a person who has worked on backend design or dashboard design.
