About the role : Working as our office accountant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting function for our firm itself (it's an internal role, not a client facing role).
The role will include :
Assistance with daily banking as requiredPreparation of weekly cash flow forecastAccounts payableProcessing fortnightly and monthly staff payrollPreparation and lodgement of monthly payroll taxMonthly Balance Sheet reconciliationsPreparation of month end accounts and management reports for our firmPreparation of monthly instalment activity statements and quarterly Consolidated Business Activity StatementsAttending to reimbursement of expenses for staff and Partners of the firmAssistance with client trust account transactionsAssistance with preparing our firm's year-end financial accounts and income tax returnsAssistance with preparation of our firm's fringe benefits tax returnOther reporting requirements for both our Australian national and our UHY International affiliationAbout you : Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.Experience as an office accountant with the total management and responsibility of the accounting function and reportingProficient in the use of ExcelStrong analytical and numerical skills, possessing a high attention to detailHigh level of accountability with the ability to prioritise and manage reporting deadlinesExperience in accounting software, either MYOB, Xero or Reckon"Can do" attitude and willingness to get involved in the detail, not just oversight.Ideally some experience working in a professional services firm.Your application will include the following questions : Do you have experience using MYOB?Do you have experience completing Business Activity Statements (BAS)?How many years of accounting experience do you have?How many years' experience do you have as a financial accountant?How many years of payroll experience do you have?Which of the following accounting packages are you experienced with?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?What's your expected annual base salary? #J-18808-Ljbffr
