Experience it here.Following a recent announcement by the Australian Government to investigate the acquisition of UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government, Lockheed Martin Australia is looking to establish a core team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support the potential procurement and sustainment activities. The modern-day, 3rd Generation UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter is the world's leading multi-role battlefield and special operations helicopter with a proven legacy of exceptional capability and reliability. Lockheed Martin Australia is looking forward to being the key contributor to the Australian UH-60M Black Hawk program and encourages you to come join us in delivering a sovereign sustainment capability.Your responsibilities will include:As the GSE Technician, you are responsible for the conduct of maintenance within the GSE workshop, ensuring all quality of work and ESH requirements are met. GSE technicians are to liaise with planning and customers to ensure adequate workflow is maintained and escalate concerns to their manager.GSE technicians are responsible for the mentoring and tasking of junior/entry-level technicians.You will be tasked with the following:Undertake the maintenance activities on the Common and Peculiar Aircraft Ground Support Equipment for UH-60M.Perform the following functions on GSE assets: Bay Service, calibration, total Repair, & diagnostics.Fault finding and signoff of complex GSE equipment (tow tractor, munition trailer, test stand hydraulic portable diesel, electric hydraulic power supply).Conduct 240V testing and tagging.Coordinate the rectification or servicing of AGSE beyond unit maintenance.About you:To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:Cert III qualified in Mechanical or similar.Previous experience working with Defence GSE.Experience maintaining and operating Aviation ground support equipment in an operational environment.Special Requirements:Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance, and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.What we offer you:When you join Lockheed Martin, you work on projects you won't experience anywhere else.
