Workers Compensation Advisor / Return to Work Coordinator
Part Time - 4 Days Per Week - 12 Months Parental Leave Cover
We are looking for a Workers Compensation Advisor to play a critical role in supporting injured workers and managing compensation claims across UGL's national operations.
This is a 12-month max term role, working part time 4 days per week and can be based out of any of our capital city offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, North Sydney or Perth.
About the role
In this role, you'll work closely with our Injury Management team, Payroll, and site Payroll staff, as well as injured workers, health and safety teams, and site managers.
Two days will be spent ensuring smooth and effective case management for injured workers and 2 days managing compensation payments.
Oversee a portfolio of health cases, managing recovery from initial report to full return-to-work.
Coordinate all medical information using SOLVinjury.
Collaborate with site payroll to verify hours worked and calculate payments.
Work with payroll to manage payments and benefits for workers, ensuring accurate payment instructions are issued through ServiceNow, approve payroll drafts and ensure compliance with state-by-state regulations.
Notify and liaise with insurers to ensure timely claim progression.
About you
We're looking for an experienced Workers Compensation Advisor / Return to Work Coordinator with:
Ability to manage a busy workload with tight deadlines in complex payroll environments.
Knowledge of workers compensation rules across states and national portfolios.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with systems similar to SOLVinjury and ServiceNow.
