We are currently seeking an experienced QAQC Advisor/Welding Supervisor to join our team for planning activities for 2 Turnaround events scheduled during 2025. This role is required to commence immediately.
Key responsibility areas
Review Documents and Drawings to ensure they are correct as per specification and job pack. Ensure required QA/QC documents are in job pack (ITP, Weld Traceability, Drawing, Visual Inspection sheets, etc.). Supervise and monitor welding activities. Develop ITPs. Carry out post-weld inspections of welding to verify weldment meets specification and statutory requirements. Review NDT reports to ensure they are correct and meet client and statutory requirements. Verify all QA/QC is completed as per client specifications and statutory requirements prior to items being dispatched. Comply with UGL and client safety procedures and policies. About you
Trade Background or Tertiary Engineering qualifications. Weld Australia- Cert 10 qualification. Extensive knowledge of Australian Welding Codes. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Experience in Shutdown projects. Experience with planning Shutdown and Pre-Shutdown activities. Ability to multitask and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills are a must in this role. Experience or knowledge of welded products and experience with computerized systems. What we offer
