About the Role Due to recently awarded long haul fibre projects with some of Australia's biggest Telecommunications carriers, we have a new opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Project Planner to join our team in either our North Sydney or Campbelltown offices.
You will manage and be accountable for the time elements of your assigned projects' performance, ensuring accurate project forecasting and timely delivery in line with contract rules and to client expectations.
What you'll be doing Regularly monitor budgets, schedules, and other key performance indicators to confirm that project timelines and budgets are being met. Evaluate project plans and proposals to ensure they meet industry standards and requirements. Develop strategies and tools used for project monitoring and control. Perform rigorous research and analysis on project schedule performance, using the results to inform strategic decisions. Design and implement a schedule governance framework that promotes accurate forecasting and timely delivery of projects. What we're looking for Key to your success will be your ability to understand project requirements and being adaptable to pivot on changes. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 5+ years planning and project controls management experience on major civil projects involving design, construction, commissioning, and operations. Recent experience in effectively reporting and communicating at a senior level with clients on major construction projects. Proficiency in MS Project and understanding of resource loading techniques.
