About the role
This is an Expression of Interest for an HR Advisor.
UGL Major Projects division is expecting significant growth for 2025 in Western Australia as we support large Building Services Projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and those open to FIFO and DIDO roles.
As a result, we have an Expression of Interest for HR Advisor role.
On-boarding, Redeployment & Terminations – co-ordinate with Hiring Managers and other stakeholders by providing transactional and administrational support during the employee life cycle.
Create and distribute formal communications including but not limited to; offer of employment, employment contracts, position descriptions, contract variations and letters.
Facilitate organisation structure maintenance including updating organisation units, cost centres, positions and employee profiles.
Respond appropriately and promptly to general P&C queries.
Liaise with payroll shared services in relation to personnel pay queries.
Be involved in P&C projects such as D&I Initiatives.
Manage employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and industry standards.
Assist in performance management and employee development initiatives.

About you
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
4 years' experience Human Resources in a similar role.
Experience with computer databases such as Taleo, SAP and Microsoft preferable.
Preferable experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects.
Must have an Australian Drivers Licence.
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
