UGL is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Administrator to join our team in Canning Vale, WA, commencing immediately.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our Finance Lead with tasks such as reporting, invoicing, end-of-month duties, and contractual administration. You will ensure compliance with safe operating practices, company policies, and statutory requirements while maintaining data integrity and financial accuracy.
About you Strong communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detailAdvanced MS Excel skillsSAP experienceProgress toward CA/CPA qualification (preferred)Prior project experience, especially in site administration.About the role: Perform Schedule of Rates billing and reconcile timesheets with SAP entries.Manage and reconcile Work in Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) balances.Support end-of-month processes and financial reporting within deadlines.Understand pay rates, relevant Awards, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs), and project contracts.Oversee cost control, invoicing, and debtor recovery activities.Conduct Cost to Complete (CTC) analysis and budget comparisons.Maintain variations in SAP in alignment with project registers.Collaborate with operations to maintain forecasts and challenge costs.Communicate daily with site leads to ensure smooth operations.Allocate costs for plant and equipment (P&E) and uphold financial data integrity.Resolve discrepancies in hours with payroll, site leads, and employees as needed.Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing.What we offer When you join UGL you will to join a 6,000 plus strong organisation owned by the CIMIC Group, one of the world's leading international contractors where you will gain exposure to a diverse range of opportunities, which include:
