About the role:
UGL are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team on an ongoing basis working on a major Oil & Gas project.
Commencing ASAP, you will be working a 5/2 roster within Perth CBD, point of hire is Perth, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Compliance : Ensure all contract commercial administration procedures are followed in line with company standards. Cost and Performance Monitoring : Provide insights and advice on contract cost and commercial performance, supporting stakeholders in key performance reporting. Budget Development & Monitoring : Assist in developing and tracking project budgets throughout the project life cycle, and monitor actuals versus forecasts. Cost Reporting : Populate and maintain detailed cost reports, including incurred costs, commitments, and variations. Variation Management : Be vigilant in understanding UGL's contracted scope of work, reporting any potential variations that may impact commercial performance. Cost Apportionment : Ensure all costs are correctly allocated to the appropriate CTR/WBS code for accurate financial tracking. Billing Optimization : Investigate and resolve unbilled issues to maximize billing opportunities for the period. Risk Mitigation : Identify and help mitigate project risks related to budgeted costs. Performance Improvement : Proactively identify and develop opportunities to maximize commercial performance and cost efficiency. Supplier & Contractor Engagement : Assist with the management of external contractors and suppliers, ensuring high standards of service and accurate cost reporting. Progress Valuation : Understand the progress valuation methodology for the project and report progress accurately. Best Practice : Promote and adhere to best practices in contract administration to ensure smooth and effective operations. About you:
Proven experience in a Contracts Admin role, ideally within the Oil & Gas construction sector or Commercial Environment. Strong understanding of industry and best-practice standards relevant to the project. Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Business Administration, or a related field. What we offer:
