About the Role This full-time role is located 4 days a week in Geelong. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the Melbourne CBD once a week. As a Management Accountant, you will support their Finance Lead with financial and reporting responsibilities.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in driving financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Duties: Perform accounting tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Work closely with the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer to ensure that the profit and loss and balance sheet are being presented to the Board. Assist with the submission of various compliance as and when required. End of Month tasks: preparation of end of month journals, accruals and prepayments. Assist with the preparation of Business Unit P&L and Balance Sheets. Monthly Management Reporting. Attend to billing queries from project teams, provide credits and follow up on missing billings. Assist head office Finance team with finance queries and requests. Skills and Experience Tertiary degree in accounting, business or similar. CPA/CA qualified or working towards. Experience in a similar role. Previous experience working in an accounting firm is highly regarded. Experience working with operations teams and non-financial stakeholders. Knowledge of the construction industry will prove beneficial. Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency across IT. Attentive to detail, can manage time well and possess great organisation skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
