We have an exciting opportunity to join Twinings & Co as an Innovation Manager.
This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Twinings Innovation pipeline.
This role will lead the development of a 5-year innovation funnel, which will deliver end to end development of priority innovation projects through the stage & gate process.
Additionally, this role will manage ongoing health and sufficiency of innovation through the monthly portfolio review, ensuring profitable portfolio growth and delivery to the 5-year ambition.
Key Responsibilities Build a profitable 5-year innovation pipeline for Twinings.
Lead development of innovation, from platform generation and ideation through to fully validated concepts ready to launch.
Leverage macro trends and consumer insights throughout the innovation process.
Manage sufficiency of the innovation pipeline, ensuring innovation mix and initiatives are reviewed through portfolio review meetings to facilitate ongoing brand growth.
Lead 'go-to-market' planning for disruptive innovation, working collaboratively with connections, category and sales teams.
Mange the P&L for disruptive innovation initiatives.
Engage with a cross functional team (local and global) to ensure delivery of projects and development of plans.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business Management Strong experience of marketing/ innovation, preferably within the FMCG industry Experience leading or managing Portfolio Review meetings Knowledge of marketing practice and best practice innovation including agile, design led thinking Experience with successfully launching NPD, preferably within the FMCG industry Computer literacy skills & proficient in Microsoft suite.
Ability to work flexibly with the global team, engaging in calls outside of regular office hours
