Senior Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor (Defence) Full-time At Turner & Townsend we're passionate about making the difference.

Responsibilities: Highly proficient in Pre-Contract & Post Contract Quantity Surveying including Cost Estimates, Commercial Management, Variation & Claims Management, Monitoring Project Budgets Develop cost plans and project capital estimates through the design phase, delivering updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
Prepare cost reports and estimate packages, and regularly present to stakeholders.
Provide commercial input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises.
Deliver quality work and position for new opportunities.
Work proactively with minimal supervision.
Minimum Requirements: With Defence clearance or Australian Citizenship as minimum Quantity Surveying, or related, degree 5+ years' experience AIQS or RICS member is ideal but not essential.
Experience in CostX is preferred.
Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
Experience preparing Cost Management estimates and reports.
Experience with advising clients on value management and value engineering.
Experience with key aspects of business development.
Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Drive to be proactive and self-motivated.
Ability to develop good working relationships with project teams.
Leadership skills, ability to manage juniors in team.
