WSP in Australia are looking for forward thinking Tunnel Designers, who would love the opportunity to be both innovative and groundbreaking!
Due to a number of thrilling project wins, this exciting role will see you enhance your capabilities and the reputation of WSP's National Tunnels and Tunnel Systems team.
You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities for generations to come!
What you'll do: Providing technical design advice on complex tunneling issues to clients and internal staff whilst delivering best practice consulting servicesUsing advanced techniques, modifications and extension of theories, practices to synthesize and analyze data for decision making/ recommendationsBuilding a reputation as an expert Design Consultant. Participate in industry groups as part of maintaining high industry profileCultivating existing and new client relationships plus undertake proactive business development activitiesKeeping your finger on the pulse and being in the know of advancing technologies, methods and research & developmentPreparing tenders, proposals and reports for clientsGuiding, participating and supporting stakeholder engagement activitiesAbout You: You can demonstrate your experience as a Tunnel Design engineer, and have solid knowledge of Mined and TBM methods of constructionHold tertiary qualifications in civil engineeringBe a Chartered Engineer, or working towards being soPossess a successful track record in undertaking and managing small to large size projectsHave a proven track record of promoting innovation in the field of Civil engineering to create value for clients/ projectsHave demonstrated experience in the preparation / review of written technical reports and client communicationsPossess a strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environmentHave the ability to take responsibility for Tunnel design delivery in multidisciplinary environmentIn addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes: Natural connectorProblem solver with a powerful team spiritOpenCuriousPassionateAdaptableImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
