Roster: 6:30 - 15:00 Mon-Fri
What This Role Involves: Management of canteen along with cooking/food preparation experienceMenu planning, adherence to National Healthy Canteens GuidelinesCooking a variety of healthy & nutritious freshly made snacks and drinksTaking orders, customer service and cash register operationsMonitoring and promoting kitchen hygiene & food safety practicesMonitoring food costs, ordering and stock replenishmentManaging and liaising with volunteersCleaning kitchen areas and dish-washingDesired Skills and ExperienceWhat We Require From You: Trade Certification in Commercial Cookery is highly desirableFood Safety Certification (highly desirable)Previous experience managing a school canteen or similar environmentAbility to work under high pressure situations and cater in large volumesStrong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with students, parents, and teachersWhy Work For Us: We have a unique culture that can only be attributed to the people that work for us.
