Tspv - Security Engineer

TSPV - Security Engineer Looking for an ICT system security specialist to lead the development of system security plans and ensure compliance with security standards.
You will guide teams in achieving an Authority to Operate (ATO) and assessing ICT systems for security compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Manage ICT system security activities.
Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP).
Lead the application and compliance of security operations procedures and review information systems for actual or potential security controls to achieve ATO.
Lead risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
Essential Skills: Strong background in ICT security with experience in Linux and Windows.
Knowledge of security risk assessments and compliance.
Ability to produce detailed technical documentation.
Location: On-Site, Canberra-based.
5 days per week.
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates require an AGSVA TSPV clearance to perform this role.
Our client will not sponsor candidates to upgrade their security clearance.
Candidates must be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.
Contract Details: 12-month contracts with a possibility of 12 month extension.
