We are looking for a Trust Accounting specialist with proven experience using Our Property, a cloud-based automation software.You would be working with our property finance team at Morton Real Estate in Crow's Nest. As an industry leader, Morton prides itself on building the skills of our team through leadership training and expertise gained through over 25 years of property management and sales experience.We are seeking our property trust accounting managerYou will be working closely with the property finance team to ensure day-to-day processes are completed, reviewing and liaising with our customer-facing teams.Responsibilities include:Reconciliation between Our Property and Trust Accounting platforms focused on ADPs for trust funds.Overview of Landlords Insurance and rates payments process management and resolution of unknown funds received.Actively review and maintain the operating procedures for Our Property accounting processes.Driving efficiency improvement and technological enhancements.Fees and commission due diligence reporting.Liaising with Property Managers and Leasing Agents and working collaboratively with our owners and other stakeholders.Ensure adherence with trust accounting principles as outlined in the Supervision Guidelines.We would love to talk to you if you:Have a BA Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Can show proven experience and a detailed understanding of Our Property software.Are excellent with time management and prioritizing workloads.Possess a strong understanding of administration and accounting principles.Take ownership of problems and responsibilities.Understand technology and have a grasp of how software systems work.Have a high level of attention to detail.Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.Have a property management, finance, or business administration background.Have worked in the residential real estate industry.Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Summary of role requirements:1 year of relevant work experience required for this role.Working rights required for this role.Expected start date for role: 11 December 2024.Expected salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year.If you think you are the one to join our dream team, we would love to hear from you!APPLY now for the role with your updated CV and we will be in touch.For more information, please email Kate Taylor, People & Culture Manager.
