We are seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join our team in Port Hedland, supporting the business in one of Australia's key industrial regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Fitting truck, crane, and OTR (Off-The-Road) tyresPerforming tyre diagnostics (condition checks, pressure, and tread depth)Balancing, aligning, and rotating wheels for optimal performanceInflating tyres and ensuring they meet safety regulationsAssisting customers in selecting the best products for their needsPreparing accurate quotes and invoicesKeeping work areas clean and maintaining toolsComplying with all safety procedures and standards
Requirements:
Experience working with truck tyresCertificate Two in Light and Heavy Tyre Fitting is desirableExposure to OTR and Earthmover tyres is advantageousManual car or truck licence (minimum requirement)Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tyre technologyPrecision, manual dexterity, and attention to detailAbility to work independently and without supervisionPhysical stamina and problem-solving skillsA customer-first approach with a focus on high-quality workmanshipTeam-oriented and positive attitude
