This role offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, new vehicles, and in a supportive environment that values your skills and expertise in truck tyre maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Truck Tyre Fitting and Maintenance:Professionally fit, balance, and repair truck tyres, ensuring they meet the highest safety and performance standards.Diagnose and resolve issues related to tyre wear, providing expert advice on preventative measures to extend tyre life.Utilise both manual and automated equipment for efficient and safe mounting and dismounting of truck tyres.Safety and Compliance:Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring all tyre fitting operations are conducted in a safe manner.Conduct routine safety checks on trucks before and after tyre fitting, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.Stay informed about the latest safety protocols and tyre fitting techniques to continually enhance safety outcomes.Team Collaboration and Support:Work closely with fellow team members to manage daily workloads effectively, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.Provide support and training to less experienced team members, sharing your expertise in truck tyre fitting and maintenance.Communicate efficiently with the operations team to schedule and prioritise tyre servicing based on the fleet's requirements.Customer Service:Engage with clients in a professional manner, offering clear and accurate information about truck tyre maintenance and related services.Address client enquiries promptly, providing practical solutions to any tyre-related challenges they may face.Uphold the company's reputation by consistently delivering high-quality service that exceeds customer expectations.Inventory Management:Monitor and manage the inventory of truck tyres and related supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available when required.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of truck tyres and parts, minimising downtime for the fleet.Maintain accurate inventory records, supporting efficient stock control and ordering processes.Reporting and Documentation:Complete detailed service reports after each job, documenting the work performed and any recommendations for future maintenance.Use digital tools to update service logs and maintain accurate records of all truck tyre-related activities.Participate in regular team meetings, providing feedback on operations and suggesting improvements based on field experience.What We're Looking For:MUST: Proven experience in truck tyre fitting.WANT: A truck licence (highly desirable).WANT: Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology.Location: Candidates should be residents of or willing to relocate to Port Hedland, Tom Price, Newman, or Karratha.What's on Offer:Stability: Permanent, full-time positions with an immediate start.Competitive Compensation: Attractive pay rates and comprehensive benefits.Relocation Assistance: Housing options available through the business in most locations.Career Growth: Opportunities to advance within a company that values and invests in its team.Why Join Us?Join a forward-thinking company that recognises and values your expertise in truck tyre fitting.
