This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technical Specialist to join our new team and contribute to our growth.
About the role: Diagnose and repair engine and transmission issues in various truck models.Liaise with the OEM to troubleshoot regarding specialised technician tasks.Conduct engine and transmission rebuilds, disassembling, inspecting each component for wear and tear, and replacing any damaged parts.Oversee the repair and maintenance process to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies to ensure availability for repairs and maintenance.Conduct road tests to evaluate the performance of repaired vehicles and ensure the proper functioning of all systems.Collaborate with the Workshop Control to provide accurate estimates and timelines for repairs and maintenance services.Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in automotive repair.Who we're looking for: Relevant trade qualifications or certification as a Truck Technician.Proven experience in engine and transmission repair, preferably in a dealership setting.Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and equipment.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Current Truck licence.On Offer: Salary negotiated on experience plus overtime.Opportunity to work with a reputable and established automotive dealership group.Great opportunity to join a brand-new modern dealership.Continuous factory/manufacturer training.Opportunity to learn and progress your career in the group.Access to Patterson Cheney Group dealership discounts, including New and Used vehicles, Servicing, and Parts.Job security with a strong and growing independent privately owned business.And don't forget a great culture, providing support and a bit of fun!How to Apply:
